I grew up in England during the baby boom years after WWII, and shipped off to an all-boys boarding school from ages of 9 to 18. My mother shed many tears to keep my brother and me at home, but my father wanted us to follow in his footsteps so I entered one of the toughest periods of my life. Fortunately, I discovered my passion in the art school, so my best memories were spent in the English countryside, sketching and painting.
After a short stint at architecture college in London, I emigrated to Southern California where I live today.
I spent much of my business life growing small companies from creative ideas to seeing them flourish. After selling the company I had built over 20 years to my key employees, I retired from business life to pursue new creative ventures.
I now find inspiration through photography and spend time touring the US as well as visiting far off places with fascinating cultures. When at home, I am most at peace gardening and tending to my koi pond.
